UE DIY First LG Washer UE — Unbalanced Load Error

What does LG UE mean?
The drum detected a severe imbalance during the spin cycle. The washer stops spinning to prevent damage from excessive vibration.
What causes LG UE?
- Single heavy item (towel, jeans, comforter) bunched on one side of the drum
- Washing a single heavy item without pairing items
- Worn or broken suspension rods or shock absorbers
- Washer not level on the floor
How to fix LG UE yourself
- 1 Open the door, redistribute the laundry evenly around the drum, and restart the spin cycle.
- 2 If washing a single heavy item (like a comforter), add a few towels to balance the load.
- 3 Check that all four leveling feet are contacting the floor — use a level on top of the machine and adjust feet if needed.
